The finale of the Greensboro Symphony’s 2014-2015 Season is the source for this edition of the program. The concert opens with Debussy’s transformational work. Then the orchestra welcomes the Korean soloist who won the Indianapolis Violin Competition for a masterwork by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, plus a couple of encores. Rounding out the program is the game-changing ballet score by Stravinsky that many consider the first great musical work of the 20th century.
